I've seen reports in the news that the US is funding anti-Iran groups within the country but haven't seen anything to support that as of late. It would not surprise me if that was the case, especially since the US has a pattern of behavior to support this. You bring up a very good point - will the Iranians rise up? The MSM was trying to downplay the events in Iran. But at the end of the day something like 12 stations were set on fire, according to one report.
